Where I Live

The world where I live
and the place I wanna be,
they never seem to match up completely
From sun up to sun down, what I want to believe
Will set me free
The problem lies with the land we all called our imagination
Somewhere, somehow, people quit leading with that place
They quit believing in all the possibilities
It became a far off fictional land
That no one can see outside of a dream
But I want to dream every day,
I want to believe that life is more than
just what you see, that it could be a life
where anything is possible
I want to live in a world
Where powers are real
That a said power could heal
another could fly
another could see through time
Where people are exceptional
For their little power.
even if it is just to make you feel calm
Even if it is just to be able to jump high
or run fast
or to create pockets in space where you could feel peace
I want to believe in something bigger than what just is
That’s the world,
